She was predeceased by: her husband Walter L. Ward, Jr. (Union Cemetery); her daughter Alvenia Jean Rowell (Union Cemetery); her great grandchild Brett Gist (Arlington Cemetery); her mother Alvenia Michael (Arlington Memorial); and her stepfather Mike Michael (Arlington Memorial).
She is survived by: her sons, Michael L. Ward and Thomas L. Ward (Marilyn); and her grandchildren, Yolanda Royal, Charles Tabor (Heather), Jacob Tabor (Carlee), Angela Thigpen, Danny Roberts (Heather), Shea Ward, Alexander Ward and Jennifer Cooke (Brian).
Margaret "Jean" Ward went home to be with the Lord on July 28, 2024, after a hard-fought battle with Parkinson's disease.
