It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juanita Marie Couvillion Mitchell of Ball, Louisiana, who passed away on December 20, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Ducote and Lena Couvillion; her husband Randolph Mitchell; and her siblings, Theresa Laborde, Andrew Ducote, Patrick Ducote and Owen Ducote.
She is survived by: her sons, Bruce Mitchell (Rebecca), Randy Mitchell (Ann) and Steven Mitchell (Melissa); and her sister Dean Armand. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
