He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade Hampton Richardson, Jr. and Sadie Ozelia Hodge Richardson; his former wife Shirley Fuglaar Richardson; and his brothers-in-law, Chester Summit and Joseph Brook.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Brook Richardson; his son Wade Richardson; his stepchildren, Jayson Beasley (Barbara) and Deonne Drawdy (Barry); his sister Kay Summit; and his sisters-in-law, Pat Brister, Shari Gearhart (David), Diane Hopkins (John), Kiesha LaBlanc and Nina McNaughton. He is also survived by six grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
