She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Hicks; her son Rick Hicks; her great grandchild Harrison Tarter; her parents, Leonard Jones and Julia Southall Jones; and her siblings, Leona DeAngelo, Peggy Kelley, Bill Jones and LaFayette Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Hicks Gatlin (Eddie), Rebecca Hicks and Micheal Hicks (Rena); her daughter-in-law Joy Page Hicks; her sons, John Dunaway, Travis Sanders and Dougie Evers; and her grandchildren, Danita Walker (Dewayne), Betsy Dunaway (Preston), Susan Barnhart (Clifford), Nora Gatlin, Jamie Welch (Derek), Page Tarter (Chris), Justin Pearman, Elise Haagenson (Stephan) and Keenan Lieberth. She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
