She was predeceased by: her husband Harold G. Griffin; her parents, Lloyd Barton and Ruby Mayeaux Barton; and her siblings, Carrol L. Barton, Gloria Ann Hall and Anita Guillory.

She is survived by: her children, Stevie Harold Griffin, Darrel Glenn Griffin, Kenny Lane Griffin and Cathy Dunn; and her sister Rita Basco. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; and 1 great great granchild.
