He was predeceased by: his parents, Inez Collier and James Chavers Sr.. He is survived by: his significant other Dorothy Chavers; his siblings, Johnny Chavers and Cheryl Herndon; his children, Angela Chavers, Karen Chavers, Candy Naylor, Patty Riser and Rickey Hart; and his grandchildren, Amber Bridges, Ashley Moore, Ryan Collins, Derek Naylor, Amy Hamra and Mat Hart. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to a charity of choice.
