He is survived by: his wife Wanda Smithey Basco; his siblings, Glen Basco and Barbara Vincent; his children, George G. Basco, Jr., Donald Wayne Basco, Cecil Cary Dorrell, Karen Hess and Janet Maturin; his granddaughter Christina Basco Fodrie; his nephews, Lavelle "Bubba" Basco, Bradley Smithey, Chris Danley and Clayton Danley; his brother-in-law Tom Danley; and his son-in-law Morgan Hess. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; many great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
