She is survived by: her mother Thelma Faye Thompson; her children, Debbie Renee Brevelle and Mark Shayne Levasseur; and her grandchildren, Michael Brevelle, Kaylyn Shorter, Courtney Levasseur and Jonathan Levasseur.

She put up a valent fight against Alzheimer's disease.
