He was predeceased by: his wife Velma Williams Walker; his parents, Talley Walker and Ortego Walker; and his siblings, Talmadge Walker (Cleola) and Geraldine McCann (Black McCann).
He is survived by: his children, Daryl Walker (Rose), Julie Walker and Sherry Walker; and his grandsons, Caleb Walker, Brandon Walker, Joey Walker and Rilee Walker. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
