It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Giroir Anderson (Ball, Louisiana), who passed away on September 26, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Terry Lynn Anderson; her parents, Wilmer Giroir and Nela Wardell Giroir; her brother Charles Ray Giroir; her granddaughter Jasmine Anderson; and her great grandchildren, Audrey and CJ Chelette.
She is survived by: her son Phillip Anderson (Michelle) of Pollock; her siblings, Maxie Giroir (Lorraine) of Houma and Patsy Harris (Stephen) of Lafayette; her grandchildren, Garrett Anderson, Gavyn Anderson, Phillip, Jr. and Myra Anderson; her nieces, Karla Spinella (Stephen) and Tracey Pellerin (Corey); and her nephew Jason Bagwell (Stephanie).
