As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Doris may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Debbie Anne Aaron; her granddaughter Deborah Alise Aaron; her parents, Fred B. Connella and Bessie Leona Connella; and her siblings, Clarence "Bo" Connella, Sandra Connella Lindstrom and Kinda Marie Connella.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Firmin, Larry Dorsey (Sheila) and Pamela Guadagno-Ward. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gallagher Funeral Home (3994 Monroe Hwy, Ball, LA 71405).
The family requests donations of either flowers for a beautiful display to honor her memory or donations made in Darlene's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at stjude.org, a charity that Darlene held close to her heart.
