She is survived by: her children, Alexia Layfield, Tristan and Cameron Layfield; her parents, Julie Warren and Steven Johns; her stepmother Joy Johns; her siblings, Amanda Johns, Lana Johns, Adam, Kyle and Dalton Johns; her grandmother Ernestine Crawford; her parents-in-law, Annette Mangel and Jay Layfield; her sister-in-law Renea Layfield; her aunts, Jeannie Landry, Tammy Meadows, Janet Troquille and Arlene Kirby; the father of her children Byron Layfield; her great-aunts, Patricia Gray and Ima Jean Smith; and her uncle Edward Johns. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins that looked up to her dearly, and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to be made that will go toward Ashley's three children and to the family members that are caring for her children. Please contact Ashley's sister, Amanda Johns or her father, Steven Johns with any monetary donations for the children.
