She was predeceased by: her parents, Mack Christy and Mary Preuett Christy; her husband Early Hodnett; and her grandchildren, James Hodnett and Amanda Renee Hernandez.
She is survived by: her daughters, Theresa Lavespere (Obie), Ruth Hernandez (James) of Colfax and Karen Mueller (Jim) of Huntsville, Ala.; her grandchildren, Kevin Lavespere (Rebecca) of Colfax, Matthew Mueller (Kathryn) of Huntsville, Ala., Cheryl Lavespere Lutes (Billy) of Colfax and Marie Mueller Brewer (Eric) of Huntsville, Ala.; and her sister Birdie Lee Christy Honeycutt of Monroe.
In Lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the American Cancer Society or Boys Town Ministries.
