She was predeceased by: her daughter Kristen Maxwell; her husband Larry Maxwell; her former husband Robert "Bobby" Deen; her sister Claire Reece Cook; and her parents, William Thomas "Tom" and Cora Lee Waller.
She is survived by: her children, Martin (Annalysa Maxwell), Denise (Gary Mayeaux) and Thomas Duane Deen; and her stepchildren, Cary, Kelly Maxwell, Christopher and Megan Maxwell. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her name to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) or to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
