He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse and Jessie Mary Brent Sr. (Washington); and his siblings, Dora Brent Navy, Mercedes Brent, Charles Brent Sr., Jesse Brent Jr., Calvin Brent (Geebie), Forest "Peenie" Brent and Melvin (Brent).
He is survived by: his siblings, Leona Brent of Baldwin, LA, Merlene Payton Sr. (William) of Sorrell, LA and Clyde Brent (Flora Bell) of Baldwin, LA; and his uncles, Ivory Kelly Sr. of Baldwin, LA and Samuel Narcisse of Baldwin, LA. He is also survived by four sisters-n-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
