He was predeceased by: his parents, James Strubb and Meryl Ibert Strubb; his brother Fred Anthony Strubb; his brother-in-law Jimmy Clements; and his close friend Linda Connor.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kayla Marie Strubb and Katie Lynn Strubb; his grandchildren, Keelon, Kameron and Gianna Huval; his siblings, James "Jimmy" Strubb (Sue), Christine S. Clements and Ethel S. Ward (Chris); his former wife Barbara Bourliea Compton; and his close friend Jimmy Ducote. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
