He was predeceased by: his father Frank Harris Sr; and his grandparents, Celeste Brown (Momma Liss), Clementine Johnson, Amos Johnson and Mary Davis.

He is survived by: his father-in-law Edward Charles Harrison of Jeanerette; his children, Eric Lee of Vancouver Washington, Marcus Harris (Patricia) of Broussard, Travis Harris of Long Beach, CA., Carlos Lionel Harris (Ginger) of New Iberia and Wanda Lee-Thompson (Darrell) of New Iberia; his stepsons, Joseph Sampy of Jeanerette, Earl Sampy of Jeanerette, Jamison Sampy of Jeanerette and Jason Sampy of Olivier; his brother Frank Harris (Debra) of Jeanerette; his aunt Ruby Davis of Texas City; his sisters, Beverly Eugene-Thomas (James) of Dallas, Debra Davis of New Iberia, Linda Harris-Berry of Rochester, Brenda Preston and Mary Louise Davis of Jeanerette; his sisters-in-law, Alice Hopes (Joshua Sr.) and Lillie Mae Ledet (Wilbert); his uncles, Harold and Donald Davis; his parents-in-law, Leola Cassamire and Alex Cassamire; and his stepdaughter Adrian Sampy. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
