It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter E. Smiley (Baker, Louisiana), who passed away on July 5, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank and Hazel; and his brothers, Gary and Frank. He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Smiley Ortego; his son-in-law Blake; his grandson Colton Ortego (Candice); and his great grandchildren, Sophia, Adelaide and James. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
