She was predeceased by: her parents, Agnes Gagliano and Lawrence Gagliano; her husband John Grady "Buddy" Piper, Sr.; her children, Deborah Piper, Brenda Piper and Lonnie Piper; and her granddaughter Debbie Narrow.
She is survived by: her sons, John Piper, Jr. (Pat) and Ronnie Piper (Michelle); her grandchildren, John Piper III, Justin Piper, Chris Piper, Edward Narro, Bridget Narro, Landon Piper, Lawson Piper, Laynie Piper, Stephen Piper, Brett Piper and Christina Piper; and her sisters, Dorothy Barcelona and Gloria Vidrine. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Baker Funeral Home (6401 Groom Rd, Baker, LA 70714). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens (6213 Groom Rd, Baker, LA 70714).
