He is survived by: his significant other Beverly Henderson Ory; his children, Tiffany Breshears (Dan), Angie McKernan (Scott), Richard Benjamin Ory and Kate Ory; his grandchildren, Karlee McKernan, Caleb McKernan, Phoebe Breshears, Kailynn Gonzales, Brandon Gonzales, Isabella Ory and Tyler Ory; his cousins, Becky Dupuy, Cholly Beasley and Dr. John Ory; and his friend Dr. Joseph Cefalu.
He also served on the board of the BREC foundation.
