He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Meriott Carey and Frankie Inez Williams Carey; and his siblings, Edgar Dennis Carey, Larry Don Carey, Leslie Terry Carey, Timothy Stephen Carey and Janet Elaine Carey.
He is survived by: his wife Wendy Mae Carey; his daughter Amanda Inez Carey Cranfield (Shaun); his granddaughter Reagan Elizabeth Cranfield; and his nieces and nephews, Marissa Hammett, Andrea Menendez, Dustin Carey and Russ Carey.
