She was predeceased by: her husband Robert "Bob" Hilman Laurendine; her parents, Hervy Summers and Vera Gilleylen; and her sisters, Jimmie, Jane and Julia.

She is survived by: her daughters, Tricia Mayfield (James) and Tonya Bankston; her grandchildren, Jessica, Lacie and Kacie; and her great grandchildren, Nick, Riley, Kyla, Ava, Robert, Remi, Axton and Jameslee. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
