He was predeceased by: his wife Georgia Lee Pilcher Heine; his parents, Reverend Charles A Heine and Edna; his siblings, Charles "Bubba" Heine and Lucy Heine Bergeron; his sons, Steve Heine and Lee Heine; his grandsons, Steven Heine and Jared Heine; and his son-in-law Glenn Overfield.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Heine, Chuck Heine and Scooter Heine (Gigi); his grandchildren, Jeremy Heine (Brittney), Austin Heine (Brittany), James Heine, Hallie Overfield Moses (Samuel), Tommie Overfield, Trisha Heine Kirkland (Chance) and Joseph Heine (Presley); his great grandchildren, Nadalyn Heine, Hayden Heine, Emma Heine, Raylon Walker-Heine, Jayden Heine, Madison Heine, Whitlea Kirkland, Natalie Moses, Andrew Moses, Truett Heine, Elizabeth Heine, Madeline Heine, Nolan Heine, Savannah Heine (Jared) and Evan Egana; and his daughters-in-law, Mary Heine, Coleen Howland Keller and Lori Verbois.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM. The military honors was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 7:30 PM and on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Municipal Center (3325 Groom Rd, Baker, LA 70714). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens (6213 Groom Rd, Baker, LA 70714).
