It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Myrtis Kemp (Baker, Louisiana), born in Smackover, Arkansas, who passed away on September 23, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Warren Kemp; her parents, Corbet H. Holliman and Vera Knight Holliman; and her siblings, Jack Holliman and Ruby Tatum.
She is survived by: her son Warren Kemp (Pam Thames Kemp); her grandsons, Joseph Warren Kemp III (Haley) and Charles Alvin Kemp (Olivia); her great grandchild Nova Noel Kemp; her siblings, Delmar Holliman and Odell Davis; and her close friends, Esther Morrison and Charlene Hamilton. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Baton Rouge Food Bank.
