It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lynda McCann Simon of Baker, Louisiana, born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, who passed away on August 2, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Howard McCann, Sr. and Nettie Louise Pittman McCann; her former husband Robert Burr Cade; her husband Thomas Eben Bebout; and her stepgrandson Devin Simon.
She is survived by: her daughter Alice C. Ferguson; her siblings, John Howard McCann, Jr., Alice Ann Smith of Clinton, MS and Jean Marie Hinton (Billy) of Hattiesburg, MS; and her grandson Leon A. Ferguson IV (Crystal) of Keller, TX. She is also survived by four step-grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends.
