She was predeceased by: her husband John Bertram Engels, Sr.; her parents, Clarence Singletary O'Callaghan and Catherine Elosia Norwood O'Callaghan; her siblings, Lorraine O'Callaghan Norton, Ruth O'Callaghan Boyd and Clarence O'Callaghan (Bootsy); her daughter Anita Bercegeay; her grandson Ronald Wesley Rogers; her great grandchild Ave Thibodeaux; and her sons-in-law, Ryan Thibodeaux, Donald Wayne Ezell, Malcolm Babin and Earl Bercegeay.
She is survived by: her children, Kitty Thibodeaux, Linda (Larry Richardson), Mary (Bill Rogers), John Engels (Carolyn Engels), Yvette Babin, Joseph (Geri Engels), Dale (Katherine Engels) and Robert Gregory Engels. She is also survived by 60 grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, her children and family.
