He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda Kay McKinnis McEachern; his parents, Perry Dee McEachern and Sybil Branton McEachern; his son Mark Alan McEachern; his grandson Brandon McEachern; and his sisters, Yvonne Newsom and Elaine Irby.

He is survived by: his children, Lawrence McEachern (Sharon Miller McEachern) and Lynette Partridge (Stan Partridge); his grandchildren, Mark Jr., Dustin, Danielle, Joey, Lance, Shauna, Kennedy and Landry; and his brother Lamar McEachern. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
