It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Soileau (Baker, Louisiana), born in Washington, Louisiana, who passed away on June 24, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertha Soileau and Leon Soileau; his former wife Lois St. Cyr Soileau; his great grandchild Kylee; and his sister Bune Leger (Avie "Blanco").
He is survived by: his wife Loretta "Tootsie" Haynes Soileau; his sons, Craig Soileau (Bridget), Bryan Soileau (Tania) and Brad Soileau (Elizabeth); and his grandchildren, Trish, Missy (Danny), Timmy (Bridget), Mandy (Josh), Michelle (Rob), Steven (Kaleigh), Lauryn (Hayes) and Liana (Devin). He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
