It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geraldine Marie Fontenot (Baker, Louisiana), born in Opelousas, Louisiana, who passed away on October 1, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Shelton "Shell" James Fontenot; her parents, Clifton Stelly and Emma Stelly; her siblings, Larry, Floyd Stelly and Joyce Bertrand; and her great grandchild Riley Reynolds.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth (Leslie Fontenot), Brian Fontenot, JoLynn (Troy Pearson), Michelle Henry, Monique Thibodeaux (Mike) and Amber (Justin Capdepon); her grandchildren, Brittany, Katie, Brandi, Tyler, Brooke, Blake, Claire, Peyton C., Peyton T. and Austin; and her great grandchildren, Carson, Brianna, Maddelyn, Olivia, Mason, Benton, Emma, Weston, Evelyn, Kade, Kole, Katie C., Hudson, Hailee and Kinlynn. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
