We are sad to announce that on February 3, 2020, at the age of 86, Evelyn Welch (Baker, Louisiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pete Durham and Lillian Durham; her husband Jewel Edward Welch, Sr.; her brother Richard Lee Durham; her niece Michelle Durham; and her sister-in-law Ann Durham.
She is survived by: her children, Judge Jewel E. "Duke", Roxson Welch, Zachary, Dorothy, Norman Liddell, Esther, Joseph Jones, Ethel and Laura Christensen; her brother Michael Durham; and her grandchildren, Jewel E. "Trae" Welch, III, Tena Welch, Jacob Welch, Lelah Villar, Lauren Hathcox, Rachael Hobgood, Abby Christensen and Cal Christensen. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
