He is survived by: his parents, Elizabeth Givens and Ernest R. Alford I; his daughters, Natasha Alford Taylor, Seirra Alford Hernandez and Desiray Barragon; and his siblings, Anna Alford, Herman J. "Slick" Alford and Steven B. Alford. He is also survived by his five grandchildren.
