He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Joseph Gautreau and Mamie Lanoux Gautreau; his son Bruce Gautreau; and his siblings, Ancil Gautreau, Romona Madere and Mary Alice Gautreau Braud.
He is survived by: his wife Juanita Gautreau; his children, Blaine Gautreau (Angela) and Lisa Gautreau (Todd); his stepsons, Alton, Danny and Shane Teekel; his grandchildren, Cody, Jenna, Lindsey, Blake, Bryce and Allisa; and his siblings, Elwood, Eugene Gautreau and Rebecca Fredric. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Baker Funeral Home (6401 Groom Rd, Baker, LA 70714). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens (6213 Groom Rd, Baker, LA 70714).
