She was predeceased by: her husband Billy Thomas Whitaker; her parents, Clarence Ellis Jones and Eva Mae Deckwa Jones; her granddaughter Stacie Annette; and her siblings, Cecil Jones, Leroy Jones, Clarence Ellis Jones, Jr., Shirley Egan and Annabelle Warner.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis White (Susan), Carolyn Spiess (William), Judy Miller (Ronnie) and Rhonda Knippers (Chris); and her siblings, Bobby Jones, Joann Davis, Betty Loupe and Diane Robertson. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Baker Funeral Home (6401 Groom Rd, Baker, LA 70714). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens (6213 Groom Rd, Baker, LA 70714).
