She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Rudolph Hughes; her daughters, Elizabeth Piper and Donna St. Romain; her great grandchild James Evans; and her siblings, Glen Haddix, Alfred Haddix and Bessie Haddix.
She is survived by: her children, Geroge (Gladys), Bill (Sherrie) and Linda Farris (Ted); and her foster son Terry Gable (Robbie). She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and two great, great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Seale Funeral Home (1720 S Range Ave, Denham Springs, LA 70726). A burial will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Greenoaks Memorial Park (9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70815).
