It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Ernest Hill (Baker, Louisiana), born in Scooba, Mississippi, who passed away on March 13, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Hill and Ernest Hill. He is survived by: his wife Martha Hamilton Hill; his children, Charles "Chuck" L. Hill, Patti J. Smithwick (Douglas) and John R. "Rusty" Hill (Betty); his grandchildren, Chelsea Strehle, Lakelyn Hill, Keysha Rowland, Jacob Carline, Karleigh Mouch, Amy Smithwick and Michael Smithwick; and his siblings, Eddie Joe Hill, Jim Hill, Jerry Hill, Carolyn Goldman and Kay Wilson. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
