He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Savoy; his wife Mary Neva Fontenot Savoy; and his mother Martha Lavergne Savoy. He is survived by: his sons, Benjamin Savoy, Jr. (Missy) and Joseph Savoy; and his grandchildren, Allie Savoy Hoang (Melvin), Amy Vasquez Johnson, Kim Martin, Wendy Savoy and Derrick Savoy. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Baker Funeral Home (6401 Groom Rd, Baker, LA 70714). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens (6213 Groom Rd, Baker, LA 70714).
