He was predeceased by: his parents, Newton Hooper and Ellen Hooper; his wife Beverly Hooper; his children, Randy Hooper and Renee Kirkland; and his grandchildren, Jared Hooper, Kari Dowty and Audri Harris.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Kathy Pinsonat; and his children, Darrell Hooper (Dez), Darren Hooper (Gayle) and DeDe Harris (Jerry). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
