It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Annie Ree Rushing of Baker, Louisiana, who passed away on January 29, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Calvin Kent Rushing; her parents, Benjamin Palmer Sr. and Nancy Alberta Kinchen Palmer; and her siblings, Benjamin Palmer II, Huey Palmer and Mary Lee Hutchinson.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Rushing (Cathy), Linda Rushing Champagne (Barry) and Cheryl Rushing Gagnet (Clay); her grandchildren, Jeffrey Rushing, Lisa Turner, Amy, Todd, Brian McGrew, Carrie Pitre, Debbie Whitehead, Daryl Champagne, Kayla, Kyle, Kelsey and Kimberly Gagnet; and her great grandchildren, Sydney Rushing, Braedon Smith, Christian, Katelyn, Savannah Turner, Madison, Cole Griffin, Sam, Gabriel McGrew, Griffin Fetters, Faith Pitre, Joshua, Julie Whitehead, Paige, Nicholas, Emmy Champagne and Marlowe Castille. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, and no one loved children.
