She was predeceased by: her parents, J. L. "Bo" and Blanche Carter (Lovett); her sister Betty Jean Herrman (Carter); her daughter-in-law Barbara Gresham (Marks); and her great grandchild Cassidy Gresham.

She is survived by: her husband Thomas; her sons, Tommy and Gary (Dona); and her siblings, James Carter and Sharon Yannarella (Tom). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
