He was predeceased by: his parents, James Morris and Mildred Morris; and his sister Lena Marie Soulter. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Morris of Atlanta; his sons, Dalwyn Flournoy of Winnfield, Brent Hogan of Winnfield and James Derrick Morris of West Monroe; and his siblings, Wayne Morris of Forest Hill and Glenda McGilvray of Forest Hill. He is also survived by four step grandchildren.
