With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Lewis (Athens, Louisiana), born in Junction City, Arkansas, who passed away on December 25, 2020 at the age of 74. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gary Lewis to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rolan Lewis and Alline Lewis; and his sister Ann Lewis Freeman. He is survived by: his wife Joellyn Foster Lewis; his daughter Rebecca Lewis Holloway (Stewart) of Pineville, LA; his grandsons, Zachary and Evan; and his brother Terry Lewis (Kathy) of Three Creeks, AR. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers honoring Gary, his family suggests memorials be made to First United Methodist Church of Homer, LA, First Baptist Church of Pineville's Debt Retirement Fund, or the donor's choice.
