He was predeceased by: his wife Lecie Louise Wooley Rushing; his grandson Seth Randall Rushing; his parents, William F. Rushing and Sabra Elizabeth Cosby; and his siblings, Lloyd B. Rushing, Arnold O'Dell Rushing, Claude A. "Shorty" Rushing, Lora E. Rushing, Cyble R. DeVille and Crystal Inez Rushing.
He is survived by: his children, Randall Rushing (Jere) and Diane Warren (Randy) of Ashland, LA; his grandchildren, Evan Warren of Ashland, LA and Lecie Rushing of Ashland, LA; and his brother Howard Rushing (Ruby) of Stanley, LA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
