He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Elzy Lum and Eula Mae Estes Lum; his stepmother Kathleen Lum; his siblings, Elsie Mae Lum Mahaffey, Buster Lum and Elmo Lum; his stepbrothers, Autry Bellamy and Randall Bellamy; his parents-in-law, Wilton, Ola Wooley, LeRoy, Louise Rushing and James Guin; and his great-nephew Seth Rushing.
He is survived by: his wife Maxine Wooley Lum; his daughter Mandy Lum Wamsley (Troy) of Ashland; and his sisters-in-law, Jackie Lum of Gilmer and Margaret Lum of Pineville, Louisiana.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
