He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Savoy and Buience Olivier; and his siblings, Leroy Savoy, Francis Savoy, Nora S. Frederick, Jackie S. Delaughter, Merlice Baumboree and Irene Savoy.

He is survived by: his sisters, Veda S. Quebedeaux (E. J.) and Rose S. Stelly (George); his brothers-in-law, Milton Frederick and Gerald Delaughter; and his niece Vickie Towe. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
