He was predeceased by: his parents, Evariste Scrantz and Cecile Amy Scrantz; his brothers, Roy Scrantz and Allen Scrantz; and his brother-in-law Ernest Huval.
He is survived by: his wife Carol LeBlanc Scrantz of Cecilia; his children, Dion Scrantz (Crystal) of Cecilia and Melinda Scrantz of Cecilia; his grandchildren, Abigayle Scrantz (Adam) and Jaden Scrantz; and his siblings, David "Dev" Scrantz and Oline Huval of Cecilia.
