She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Mallet, Jr.; her parents, Henry Broussard and Mary Louversa Baltazar; her children, Alisa Faye Mallet and Brian Keith Mallet; her grandchildren, Tré Dale Mallet and Logan Mallet; her father-in-law Walter Mallet, Sr.; and her brother-in-law Peter Mallet.
She is survived by: her sons, Joseph Walter Mallet, III (Connie) of Baton Rouge and James Henry Mallet of Arnaudville; her stepfather Percy Baltazar; her grandchildren, Victoria R. Mallet, Kaylon M. Mallet, Devin J. Mallet, Ryan Dale Mallet, Dylan Dale Mallet, Bryson O'Brian Mallet, Kennadie Mallet and Andria Merehead; her siblings, Mary Ann Broussard (late Joseph), Barbara Broussard (Russell) of Arnaudville, Orida B. Edwards (Judge Jules Edwards III) of Lafayette and Henry John Broussard of Lafayette; her siblings-in-law, Mary Lucille Daigle (Farice Sr.), Rosalee Lawson (late Donald McGee Lawson), Leana Mallet, Rose Anna Minix (Darrel), Elizabeth Mallet, Joyce Mallet and Donald Mallet, Sr. (Laura Mae); her aunt Emma Noel (Herbert Batiste); her uncles, Alvin Noel and Calvin Noel, Sr. (Lavernia); and her godchildren, Tyrelda Broussard, Byron Rideau, Bonnie Joe and Cynthia Broussard.
