She was predeceased by: her husband Onezime Charles, Jr.; her son Roland Charles; her grandson Garrett James Noel, Sr.; her son-in-law Joseph L. Noel, Jr.; her mother Eva Taylor; and her siblings, Raymond Taylor, Charles Taylor, Lawrence Jackson, Edwin Charles, Carroll Taylor, Joyce Levier and Berrell Jackson.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara A. Charles, Patricia Noel, Gerald Charles (Ann), Floyd Charles (Leanna) and Jimmie Charles Sr. (Jeanette); and her siblings, Eva Anthony, Beradine Aggison and Howard Charles (Jollie). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 31 great-great grandchildren; and 5 great-great-great grandchildren.
