He was predeceased by: his wife Emma Galban Cormier; his parents, Gerald Cormier, Sr. and Ida Lagrange; his siblings, Larry, Paul Cormier, Margaret Jane Hanks (Clarence) and Margorie Fontenot (Emery); and his sister-in-law Janice Solieau Cormier.

He is survived by: his brothers, Cecil Cormier (Elizabeth) and Gerald Cormier Jr.; and his pet Toy. He is also survived by Dog and Mina'; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
