She was predeceased by: her husband Malcolm Schexnayder; her parents, Ben Guilbeaux and Mildred Guilbeaux; and her daughter-in-law Brenda Schexnayder. She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth S. Venable (Russell), Michael C. Schexnayder and Danny R. Schexnayder (Donna); her grandchildren, Jarade Schexnayder (Holly), Denee Abu Khurma (Safwan), Nikki Schexnayder, Jaron Schexnayder and Victoria Richard (Tyler); her great grandchildren, Collin, Khalil, Sara, Connor, Lana and Randy; and her sister Kathleen Constantine (Milton) of Tennessee.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4117 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520). A rosary was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 3:15 PM at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (174 Church St, Grand Coteau, LA 70541).
