He was predeceased by: his parents, Eve Taylor and Ida Marks Taylor of Arnaudville; his son Aaron Taylor; his brother Teddy Taylor; and his brother-in-law Earlis Belaire.
He is survived by: his wife Colleen Taylor of Arnaudville; his son Nick Taylor (Michelle) of Lafayette; his granddaughter Emma Taylor; and his siblings, Merline Belaire, Anna Grace Thibodeaux (Jervais), Nell Taylor, Melinda Taylor, Eve Taylor (Rick), Jodi Taylor and Tessie Knott.
